Climate Media Training Fellowship
Shaping the narrative for climate justice on the Road to COP30
The Climate Media Training Fellowship empowers climate leaders to shape the global conversation ahead of the 2025 UN Climate Conference in Belém, Brazil and beyond. Through multilingual training, mentorship, and hands-on media opportunities, fellows gain the tools and connections to amplify frontline voices, reclaim narratives, and influence climate policy. Led by Youth Climate Collaborative and 350.org with a coalition of global and Brazilian partners, the program ensures underrepresented voices are not only present at COP30, but leading the story.

Why This Fellowship Matters
Storytelling is a pillar of democracy, and in the climate movement, it’s a tool for justice. Yet too often, youth and frontline leaders lack the access, training, and platforms to shape the media narrative before major policy decisions are made.
The Climate Media Training Fellowship closes that gap. Together with partners, we’re building a global network of prepared, confident, and well-connected storytellers who can shift public perception, strengthen advocacy, and help deliver meaningful climate action.
